Medical

Use this action to solve any medical problem including (but not limited to) healing Characters, diagnosing illness and disease, determining cause of death, or doing biological research. When healing, HP increases based on your Medical roll. Good rolls give +2 HP, Great +3 HP, and Superb +4 HP. Some special situations, such as poisoning, or fatal wounds, are governed by Story specific rules that the Narrator will apply. You should have some medical supplies on hand to effectively use the Medical Action. Dr. Harriet Lamonde always has her medical bag with her, and is always prepared. But others may also use Medical if they can find supplies. If you can't find supplies, you can still try to use Medical by improvising with whatever is at hand, but the Narrator may choose to apply a penalty, reducing your effectiveness.
